Have the event start time reflect users local time?

Hi all,
Is it possible to have the start and finish time of and event in the widget or shortcode relect the time of the users time. Or take out the start and finish time of the event? I did some testing overseas and the event still shows the time that it has been created in my google calendar.. not the actual time that the user will be attending in their local time.
