Thumbnails

  • I’m creating a site where the only real blog is going to be a series of thumbnails that link to other authors pages on the blogsite, and in turn they will have thumbnails that links to their media either on the server or off…

    My question is this: Is there a tool or a plugin that I can download for my WordPress blogsite that makes an automatic thumbnail whenever someone posts? I’d hate to have to go into Photoshop and do an elongated upload process everytime someone posts a picture on the blog.

  • Uploading a picture through the Write > Post panel will automatically create a thumbnail (since WP.2.x).

    Or did I misunderstand something?

    Nope, that worked perfectly!

    The only thing I was thinking about, even further, was the idea of punctuating each post with a little bit of an “avatar”, either a specified thumbnail relating to the post, or an avatar of the blog’s logo itself.

    See Plugins in the Codex. Look for category image, category icon and similar stuff ??
