• Hello all!

    New member to the community.

Just installed WordPress 3.5.1, after some difficulty. However, I cannot see anything on my site, https://www.piggywog.com

I am getting the dashboard from /wp-admin and all the other files. I’ve activated the theme, however, even when previewing any theme, nothing shows up on the right hand side.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Are you sure you have WordPress installed? I just visited your site, and checked it and there is no install of WordPress or anything visible in the source code. I also ran a scan of your site via https://sitecheck.sucuri.net and it returned “Unable to properly scan your site. Site empty (no content).

If you do have a fresh install of WordPress 3.5.1, when you installed WordPress do you have any Cache Plugins activated or listed under plugins? Some times W3 Super Cache or Cache Plugins in general affect your site. I suggest that you deactivate and delete any Cache Plugins. Your site should be visible after that.

If not contact your host provider and they will help you resolve the problem, but from what I’ve seen, there is no install of WordPress on https://www.piggywog.com

I go to the install.php file and it says it is installed. Would I even be able to reach the dashboard if its not installed properly?

Also I haven’t installed any plugins. I activated my first theme right after it says it installed. And nothing showed up.

Since it is a new install and you haven’t added any content yet. I would delete all the WordPress files and delete the database and start over.

Note: Do not, I repeat DO NOT Delete the WordPress Files or Database if you have added any new content such as – New Pages, New Posts or users.

Hi can you plz take a loot at my website too.

    Its all blank!

I can visit your site, but I don’t see any content. I checked the source code and there is content. I can navigate using the menu, but I don’t see anything. Have you installed any new plugins or updated any themes, plugins or WordPress?

Well, I did create a user (myself), as well as a test post. Could I still delete everything and start over even if I created these? Why is it such a big deal if I have created any of those things?

You can delete everything and start over. I asked if you created any content on your site because you might want to keep it, but since it is a new install just delete everything including your database and install WordPress again.

    Hello,
I can see it shows up.

As of 10:38am CST, your newly installed WordPress site of https://www.piggywog.com/ is showing.

gawd, this is frustrating. New install today. I can get to admin but can’t see blog public area. I have reinstalled 3 times. What is the cause and solution?

Do you have any cache plugins installed. Users that have installed WP Super Cache has been experiencing this same problem, causing it to not work. It may also be that another plugin is broken or out-dated and causing an error. If you have a cache plugin delete it, then check to see if you blog shows. If nothing happens, deactivate every plugin and see it you can view your blog. If you can view your blog after deactivating each plugin, activate your installed plugins one by one while testing there functionality. Doing so you will find which plugin is causing your site not to work. If all fails contact you web host provider, they’re technicians should be able to locate the issue for you.
