    UPDATE

Not sure why but when I installed the cart it deleted all my pages that woocomerce initally installed (cart checkout my account etc) that’s why the cart wasn’t working, I went back in made the pages and re-activated the plugin and all works now!

    Hi David,

I’m glad all is working for you. That is very odd – not sure how that could have happened. Did you have any other WooCommerce plugins installed? What version of WooCommerce are you using?

If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to ask – we almost always respond on this forum the same day. Also, if your client is looking for extended functionality, be sure to check out our newly released pro version. Hey JP,

ya idk why but it deleted those pages, as for any other wooComm plugins I was just using Woocomerce 2.0.5

Awsome, i’ll talk with them and see if they want the extended functionality, and the 40% off is a nice incentive ??

side question do you know anything about the actual wooCommerce plugin, i’m having an issue with it and the documentation on the WC site isn’t helping and I can’t get intouch with them =/

Both Ewout (my co-conspirator on this project) and I are pretty well versed in WooCommerce. Send us an email to [email protected] and we’ll check it out. I’m spending this Easter afternoon with my wife so I’ll check it out tomorrow morning. Just be sure to mention this conversation in case Ewout doesn’t read this.

Have a great rest of your Easter!

Spent soooooooo many hours trying to figure this out. Am soooo happy came across this forum!!!

I installed your Woocommerce Menu Cart plugin (visually it is exactly what i spent hours, and many other plugins) however not when i click any link to my cart page, except then one in the main menu bar, it sends me to an empty page. I just don’t know what to do. HELP!

I am new to wordpress and site building as a whole. I have only been building my own site for a couple of weeks. So please, be basic in your answers, if you can.

    Thanks, Erik (FJsHandbags.com)

Sorry, forgot to also mention, that, now, with the plugin installed the ‘view cart’ ‘button’, after you add an item to the cart, also sends me to a blank page. This did not happen before i added the plugin.

    Hi Erik,

The plugin is set to direct you to the cart page and it looks like something isn’t working quite right. Go to your WooCommerce settings. The third tab say’s “pages” click there and see what page is selected where it says cart page. It looks to me like you may have installed WooCommerce on here twice and there are some pages that shouldn’t be there.

    Jeremiah,

Wow, can’t believe that it was as easy as that!! I said I was new to this whole business and I bet this proves it. Thank you for the quick response! Have had many visitors to the site but think they may have turned away with the cart not working correctly.

    Thanks again!!

You’re very welcome. I’ve had a similar issue before so I completely understand. Enjoy the menu cart plugin and let us know if you need any more help!

Me again, not really an ‘issue’, however have been trying to give your WooCommerce Menu Cart Pro a look however all of the links give me a This webpage is not available or Could not connect to remote server error. Thought I would bring this to your attention. (ps have tried the links via IE, Opera & Google Chrome).

    Hey Erik,

That’s strange, it sounds like a server error but we’re not having any issues. Would you mind pasting the link here that you tried to click? See if this one works for you as well: https://wpovernight.com/shop/woocommerce-menu-cart/

And thank you for bringing this to my attention, I appreciate it!

    Hey,

No luck with the link you sent. Switched over and tried it on my laptop with the same errors??

below are the two links i tried. the first is the link that pops up when you try to change the cart icon. the second it the “buy now” button.

    hope this helps? Erik

    Hi Erik,

That’s so odd. I’m having no issues. What happens when you do a force refresh on the page? cmd + shift + R for mac or ctrl + f5 windows? Also, where are you located? Maybe it’s a geographic issue.

    Hey,
No luck with the forced refresh still get ‘Could not connect to remote server’ error.??
I’m located in NY. so don’t see that as an issue. but you never know.
Gonna boot other computer and give it a try. will let you know what happpens.

    Erik
