Subscriber Problems and Excerpts

2) Yes there is! If you use the <–more–> tag in your post, they will get the excerpt sent to them. This can affect how it looks like on your site, though, so have a look at this thread where I’ve previously discussed this: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/sending-full-post-in-email-despite-more-tag

I’m having a hard time figuring out how to do the excerpt in Catalyst. Sigh. Rethinking whether or not I need people to subscribe to the site just to get an email with an excerpt that links to the site. Or am I just rationalizing the fact that I don’t want to figure all this stuff out? I agree with David in the link you sent: everything is easier if there is just a box to tick. Now, if you could just intuit what I want those boxes to say.
