How to use this widget on 2 different page templates

  • I have 2 pages that use 2 different page templates. The templates are very similar, basically the only difference is they have 2 differently named widget areas.

    I need to use the Advanced Recent Posts widget on both of them; 1 page showing the last 3 posts and 1 page showing all posts. But when I try to add it to both widget areas; it only works on one. Both widget areas are definitely working; They both work if I drag the widget on just one; but not if it’s on both.

    How can I get it to work on both pages??
