Parts of the website not working/ visible in IE 9

  • I have 2 parts on my Website that are not working in IE. Sinds the author of the templates never response on support requests, I hope I can solve this with the help on this support website.

    1- Menu: Sub categories are braking down.For ex. on my website > menu > COMPUTER > CONNECTIVITY the sub category ADAPTERS and other sub menus are breaking and not visible.

    2- Accordion: On the Home page I have drop-down accordion with 4 text blocks. The upper one “Producten” is always open on default. In IE, after the first click all blocks remain closed and will not open.

    I have tested this on different computers.

    Also tried allot of different plugins to help this issue without any good results.
