Main font modification

I’m using the Iris theme, to which I have made slight modifications. My problem is that I wish to modify the font in used as a default. I’ve tried changing the font in the stylesheet associated with the body element but that as had no effect.

Does anyone know where else this font could be defined and it’s name?
