Last two updates of this plugin leaving wrong code on footer of front-end pages:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare spintax() (previously declared in /home/materiaincognita/www/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/includes/jwl_rocket.php:5) in /home/materiaincognita/www/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/includes/jwl_rocket.php on line 19

    Loading of site too long…

I’ve disabled the plugin for while until ‘debug’. :'(

Hello, Marcos. We are doing some beta testing on some features we will be publicly releasing soon, so our apologies for the inconveniences. Have you tested the very latest version of the plugin? We had to release a couple of updates until we got it working nicely.
Thanks, and do let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.

    Hi Marcos,

I apologize for your experience. However, I’m relatively certain we have addressed both of the issues you are describing.

If you wouldn’t mind giving the plugin another shot.. and posting a link here to your site.. I’ll be happy to take a look and ensure it’s working properly.

    Thank you!

    Hi, friends.

Yes, we’re using the latest version of your plugin (4.3.1.3) and the latest version of WordPress (3.5.1).

In the next two links you can see the problem when the plugin is activated:

(with the “fatal error...” as I’ve described above.

(when plugin is deactivated some shortcodes appear as in the image above, of course)

    Thanks Marcos…

But… I can’t understand from the two images you provided. They are exactly the same??

    No worries!

    Thanks for the links!

Okay… the first one is definitely me. I’ll have to take a look at why your site is doing this. I use the same function on many of my sites.. and receive no errors. So, please allow me 24 hours to see what’s going on there.

Regarding the second image… I have no idea why that’s happening. I can’t think of anywhere in my plugin that would have this affect. Does it still happen if you deactivate Ultimate Tinymce?

    Thread Starter Marcos Blatt

    (@marcos-blatt)

    Hi.

The problem in the second image appears only when the plugin is deactivated.

When Ultimate Tinymce is active all shortcodes work fine, of course.

I’m showing you that image because it’s an ugly effect.

    :o)

Hmmmm… I do have a shortcode for entering linebreaks.. by using the [break] shortcode. But, you would have had to manually insert these yourself.

Do you remember inserting [break] shortcodes in that content from your image? Can you go back to that content in your content editor and remove the “[break]”?

    Thread Starter Marcos Blatt

    (@marcos-blatt)

Yes, I’ve put it there manually but I’ve put also other dozens and dozens of [break] shortcodes in dozens and dozens of posts. :'(

I should to take off all of them manually, so…

…I’ll wait your fix of the plugin. :o)

    Thanks.

    Plugin Author Josh

    (@josh401)

    Hi Marcos,

Well, unfortunately, the way WP is set up… is that if you use a plugin which offers a shortcode… and you become dependent on that shortcode…. removing the plugin will break all it’s associated shortcodes.

This does not just happen with my plugin… but it happens with any plugin out there which uses shortcodes.

One way around having to manually remove all of them… is to define the exact same shortcode in your functions.php file. This would replicate the behavior of the shortcode, when the plugin is deactivated.

Let me know if you would like me to help you setting up such a function.

    (@josh401)

Everything is fixed in version 4.4.

I’m gonna mark this thread as resolved. Please feel free to change it back if your issue persists.

    Thanks!

    Hi Josh.

You are right. Everything is OK now and working fine.

Thank you very much for your attention!
