Business Directory Plugin v3.0.1

  • I am running this plugin on the Mantra theme (www.beaminster.net) in order to have a business directory listed. (I want to be able to search for businesses, and view them in categories etc). Worked perfectly until the recent update.
    All the info is still stored in the admin page of the site, but nothing is showing except the images.

    Please help! Am I doing something silly?

    I have deactivated Jetpack (which I read was causing a few issues here and there).
    Not sure if there’s just a simple thing I’m overlooking!

  • Hi Katy,

    Just FYI–in the future, please post support requests in one of our two main forums–we respond to those issues much more quickly as we monitor them regularly.

    For the problem you describe above, here’s what you need to do:

    1) Upgrade to 3.0.2 if you haven’t already
    2) Go to Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields
    3) Click Edit on each field.
    4) Check the settings for the data type, the display flags, and the validators. They are probably all wrong. Update and save the changes
    5) Repeat for all fields in the list

    That should restore your listings. The data wasn’t lost, you just need to reset the field associations.
