Am I been Hacked? CSS files not working

Hi,

From what I can see, it is UNlikely that your site is hacked.
The changes you just made, contain an error that has thrown of the css / styling of the site.
Restore the situation to it’s previous state and all will be well again.
For this use a backup / ask the webhost to restore a RECENT backup.

In future:
ALWAYS Make a backup of your site, before making any changes!!

1. Use FTP to backup the files.
2. Make sure to also backup your database.
   Dashboard > Extra > export> follow instructions… Install export tool if asked > save database to dekstop.

3. Use a childtheme to make the changes in
   Suggestion: use the ‘one click childtheme plugin’.

Is there a way to check for the CSS file and check for errors?

One really good way to track down errors is by using the validators:

You could also start by deactivating all your plugins to see if any are causing problems on your site.

Thank you so much WPyogi, I will take a look at it. I did deactivate all the plugins just to see if any of them was the issue but it was not.

All I remember doing today was updating the CSS file because the google adsense gave me an error about replacing the css callouts

with this below to make the site faster for users

well I added the original code to the css file and the site is working again. ?? Thank you guys and jesus…

But why google will recommend me something is not working for my site?
