kia subtitle and polylang

    Hello!

    I’m using your plugin in various websites and it’s very useful! Thank you for creating it!

    Unfortunately I have one issue…
    On my website I’m using ‘Polylang’ plugin which allows to have multiply languages, but when I create new post/page with another language, KIA subtitle stays the same. If I retype subtitle, it automatically changes for all pages…

    I don’t know if you understood what I mean, but the easiest way to understand it, would be to get polylang plugin, add another language and create post/page + add another language to it

    (As I noticed, when I add language page for page, ID stays the same, but I have extra bit in my url: &new_lang=ru)

    Well I am not sure how the polylang plugin works, but you mentioned that the post ID stays the same. My plugin only supports a single post meta (subtitle) for each post.

    I’d suggest that you use a custom field or create a metabox, to save the other language’s subtitle. I have added a filter (called the_subtitle) so you can change the output of get_the_subtitle() but I can’t add support for other plugins into mine…. I’d go crazy trying to keep up with everything.

    helgatheviking, you are right – supporting other plugins would be crazy thing to do ??

    An author of ‘Polylang’ plugin helped me with this (I don’t need to synchronize custom fields, then it will not duplicate it)
