Blog of the Day

  • Got the plug-in and installed it, however I’m all at sea about the template tags. Where’s the best place to put them, and how are the URLs added?

  • I can’t find a “blog of the day” plugin so I’m not sure what plugin you’re referencing, but to answer your first question, with most plugins you simply insert the tags wherever you want them to show up on your site. For example, if you want it to show up in the sidebar, then you have to insert the code in the place you want it in your sidebar.php template for the theme you are using.

    Also, most plugins come with a readme file that gives some basic instructions on how they work.

    Hmmm.. the only BotD plugin I know of auto-inserts itself. Just activate it and you are good to go.
