Error Details: Jetpack ID is empty.

    Hey just installed the latest Jetpack Version (2.2.2) through wordpress plugin-menu. Installation was no problem, but if I click the Connect to WordPress.com button it says:
    Error Details: Jetpack ID is empty.

    There is no login screen to WordPress.com appearing.

    I’ve also deinstalled and reinstalled the plugin several times, I even downloaded the Plugin from www.ads-software.com and installed it through WordPress with no success.

    Any hints how to get Jetapck working?

    Hmm, two months gone, but no solution for that problem..
    I’m next one with that issue. I installed Jetpack thru WordPress administration (no problem with it) and when i klick to “connect to wordpress.com” buton, i get error message jetpack_id (Error Details: Jetpack ID is empty. Do not publicly post this error message!).
    After that i installed also test utility that you suggested in other post. Result of that is:

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    I’m afraid we haven’t found any fix for that problem yet; other Jetpack users have reported similar issues, and we have narrowed down the problem to a few specific hosting providers, but we couldn’t find a way to solve this problem yet.

    I will post again here as soon as I have some news.

    Could you try to update to Jetpack 2.3.2? We’ve included a fix that should solve this “Empty Jetpack ID” error.

    Let me know how it goes.

    I’m sorry about that. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.
