rotating tweets does not show newest tweets

  • Rotating tweets keeps showing older tweets, the latest don’t show up. I get this message in the admin panel:

    Error message received from Twitter: SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed. Please check your API key, secret, token and secret token on the Twitter website

    The Twitter API settings are correct. I deactiveted the plugin and activated it again, problem still the same.

  • Apologies for not responding earlier. This wasn’t posted in the Rotating Tweets support area.

    I would suggest switching off SSL verification on the settings page.
