When I create actions and what have you in open graph, are they automatically added through this wordpress Facebook plug in or do I have to copy the code that it gives me somewhere into my header or theme pages?

I ask because whenever I try to google for answers on how to use open graph, the only results I get are from around 2 years ago before this facebook plug in became what it is today.

    So again, my question is:

When I create stories, types, aggregations, and collections in the Open Graph, does it automatically get inserted into my wordpress blog via this plug in, or do I need to copy the code that the open graph interface provides for me into my html?

Social Publisher does not seem to update with my open graph additions… I forgot to add that into the first post.

The plugin supports the news.publishes action if you have setup the Facebook application associated with your site for the publish action on an article object. You can enable the special news.publishes action publishing in place of generic feed publishing after you have setup the action and its related capabilities and the action is approved by Facebook for the app.

Facebook Open Graph has two main components: the object (your public post URI and its Open Graph protocol markup) and the action (the endpoint used to publish to your author’s timeline). If you change your post’s Open Graph object type to something other than the Open Graph protocol article global type then you don’t want to use the Open Graph publishing capabilities of this plugin since news.publishes is tied to articles only.

There is no API to query against your Facebook application’s configured and/or approved objects and actions; the Social Publisher settings page is therefore unable to display your application’s possible progress against that requirement.

Thanks so much for this. I was really confused. Your post helped greatly.
