Gravatar Plugin Xdforum ? Anyone know how to merge?

I know gravatar runs off of an email some how. Unfortunately, email is not any part of the gravatar() function call API for Gravatar plugin.

I’m guessing it tries to take this variable automaticly from some global comment-created variable. Is there any way I can spoof this within a xdforum post so that the gravatar universially applies for users both posting and leaving comments?
