wp e-commerce product page description

Hi Guys, not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes!

Im using wp e-commerce for a website I’m making, and the person has said that they dont like how some of the product pages, the description of a product goes for the full length, and isnt shortened.

is there a way to shorten that description, so that people must click on the product to view full description?
