Get rid of Comment box on Home page

    How do I get rid of the comment box on my Home page? I saw in an earlier discussion that I can place the following in my CSS file:

    .home #comments{
    display:none;
    }

    I tried to do this in numerous places with no luck. I need more specific directions as to exactly where I should place this.

  • The steps are:

    1. Just edit that Home Page (you can see the “Edit Page” from admin bar at the top),

    2. then click on the “Screen Options” at the top right from the Edit Page screen.

    3. Finally click the “Discussion” checkbox. A box will appear at the bottom,

    4. just uncheck them.
