WP Custom Fields Search error when there are 5 or more fields to search

  • Hands down the best plugin to search via custom fields.

    I have been using this plugin, but ran into a problem. There are about 10 fields in the search form. If i fill in 4 fields and submit, the search works well. If I fill another another field and search, it doesn’t work.

    Is there a way I can fix this issue?

    I’ve been scouring the wp custom fields search support, but I haven’t found any answers.

    I came across your name and you have solved a few of peoples problems with the WP Custom Fields plugin, so I hope you can help me.

    Searching post meta table (custom fields) have an performance issue, this table is not search friendly… in the way how WP Custom Fields Search plugin search it, on usual hosting account you can handle search up to 10 fields (this may vary depend of your machine and site size)…
    There is no easy solution, if custom fields search is important part of your site, you may think of converting post meta to taxonomies or create custom table which will be ‘search friendly’ – but I guess, for this you will need to employ a specialized developer.
