Search Engine not working as well…

  • Hi. I run a site called https://www.BayBusinessHelp.com.
    The search engine on my site used to work well. Now it is having problems. If you type in a keyword it will give you the appropriate posts.

    BUT if you type in a contributor’s name it no longer shows all the posts they have written on the site.

    What can I do to fix this?

  • If you click on the author’s name in post meta it will show all the posts by that author. So,it’s working just fine. You can,optionally, list your authors in a sidebar widget (similar to the Top commenters widget you have). If you search for the author’s name it will show it in the results if his/her name is inside a post/page content.

    Thanks. I realize that is an option, but it used to show the posts of each author when you typed in their name. Now it doesn’t.
