Assign Lead to Sales Rep

I got leads to come into Salesforce but when I assign a hidden field with the reps ID (Ex: 00530000006OOTw) to the Lead ID in the Salesforce Feeds page an error is produced.
The main idea is to assign the leads to specific users within Salesforce.
