• Firstly, what a great app! Took less than the five minutes you claim and does what it says on the tin.

I modify in the control panel and copy the code for the .htaccess file, however, there was no file automatically created on install. When I create one and uplodad it I get “internal server error”, even if it is a blank .htaccess file. I cut and paste the revised permalink code into the .htaccess file and ftp it, but still no go. The file is CHMOD to 777

  • Delete present .htaccess
    Open Notepad
    hit space bar once
    Save file
    Upload it
    Rename to .htaccess
    CHMOD 666
    Update permalinks
For security CHMOD back to 664
Any time you update permalinks you need to change CHMOD to 666
