• So just to verify from all the other posts I’ve been reading:
It is not possible to have nice permalinks on WordPress if it is hosted on Godaddy?

It seems that .htaccess works and mod_rewrite is enabled on the Godaddy Linux server, but they do not allow php files to be rewritten? Is there any possible workaround for this?

  • On a Godaddy linux server permalinks are fine.

I don’t know what you mean by “allow php files to be rewritten” – nothing gets rewritten for real, it’s terminology for that the server does with url’s.
