Author name

Is there an easy way to remove the author name (on my theme it says “by jonwainwright”). I dont mind the time, date, tags, comments i just dont want it to show who wrote it.

and my theme is infoway, i have a child theme in place and have tried a few things i found on the forums but they didnt work last try was
