No. PHP support for traits appeared in v5.4 and the plugin’s SDK is dependent on them.

Youch. Not a cool update. PHP 5.4 usage is still very low and I’m sure you’ve just broken a huge number of sites (including mine – though luckily I had a backup of the older version).

What exactly was the hugely important feature you just added that makes traits so essential?

Hostgator for instance does not support php 5.4. I have no choice but to stick with 1.18. ??
