Can’t add new user

  • Since I deleted a user with user level not zero (this funnily worked, is not in the wp_users anymore), I can’t add new ones.
    when i try, after filling in all info and klicking add new user, an error occurs: “error: this user doesn’t exist. please use an existing username.” (or so, i use the german version 2.02)

  • I’m having a similarly frustrating result. I created my new blog https://www.woolcottandcompany.com/blog as a way for my staff members to communicate with our customers. The idea is for each staff member to have an account. I created an account for Kat, with a password as *******. But when trying to sign in I get a password error message.

    Any ideas folks??

    Sorry, I had to edit out your pw since I am in your dashboard with that password!!!
