Blog posts gone with Jetpack 2.2.5

I recently installed jetpack 2.2.5 (https://www.wordman.us) and now my posts do not show up on the blog page. I contacted my hosting provider and they said it appears to be a jetpack issue. He advised me to deactivate Jetpack. This poses a hardship since I rely on many jp features.
