Not sending email to registered subscribers

Registered Users must opt in and subscribe by category. It sounds very much like none of your Registered Users have an active subscription.

Go to Subscribe2->Subscribers and go to the bottom of the screen in the Registered Subscribers tab. There you will find the “Bulk Management” section where you can subscribe all of your current Registered Users to some or all categories and also change the email format they will receive if you choose to. These steps cannot be undone which is why there is a privacy notice there.

One more question though, if a new user added as subscribers , do I need to edit that user for the email notification?

If a new person registers with your site, what happens will depend on the settings you have got in Subscribe2->Settings in the Registered Users tab under the “Auto-Subscribe” heading.

Here you have option to subscribe new users automatically or have a check box on the registration form (or do nothing). You can also control the default format and whether excluded categories are subscribed too.
