Codex Theme List db error

  • Hi, I was told by a friend that the Codex’s WordPress theme list is generating an error when he tries to view it. I didn’t notice anything, but I found that if you’re logged in, you can see it. Otherwise, you get only a database error when you access the page.

    This error:

    A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
    (SQL query hidden)
    from within function “MediaWikiBagOStuff:_doquery”. MySQL returned error “1062: Duplicate entry ‘codex:pcache:idhash:3831-1!1!0!1!0!1!0!!en’ for key 1 (mysql)”.

    Hmmmm… It looks like it’s still down. Are you sure you checked it while logged out? (cookies perhaps?)

    i got an error too while i’m trying to look at Codex’s WordPress theme list

    The codex theme page at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Themes/Theme_List has been down for a looooong time now. It hasn’t been working for me for the past week regardless of whether I’m logged on or not.

    I’m not seeing any errors on that page. Strange…

    Interestingly, two minutes ago I had no problem accessing the theme list using the link from haydin, so I logged out of Codex and clicked on his link and got the database error.

    But as soon as I login to Codex, I see that page perfectly.

    When I’m logged into Codex I use the Monobook Skin (and have no problem), so maybe the Codex skin is part of the problem.

    Also interesting is that if I use this link: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Themes

    which redirects to the Using_Themes/Themes I don’t have a problem, logged in or not.

    Okay, maybe I wasn’t too clear when I said that. ?? Yeah, when I’m logged in, I can see the list fine for some reason. When I’m logged out, I get that error. I just use the default theme for the site (or at least I haven’t changed it).
