Deleted a comment by misstake. How do I put it back?

    I had a comment dated September 23, 2005. This comment I deleted by misstake.

    If I recreate the comment, how do I put it back on the same date?

  • Do you have access to phpMyAdmin or something similar that you can use to edit your db directly? Going from memory here, but I’m reasonably sure that comments are in their own table so you could presumably view that table, find the comment and edit the date for the comment.

    Sorry, my english isn’t so good. This is about a deleted post, not a comment. I mixed the two words up. But the principle must be the same.

    Anyway. First I posted a new post the usual way. Then I went into my phpMyAdmin and changed the date of the post. Very simple.

    Oh gosh, for posts it is even easier. On the right side of the post editor is a spot where you can adjust the date and time for it.

    But glad it worked. ??
