    Hi Adrian,

    please try:

    1. Press and hold down the Alt key.
    2. Press the + (plus) key on the numeric keypad.
    3. Type 0169 on the numeric keypad. (zero, one, six, nine – this is the Unicode for ?-sign)
    4. Release the Alt key.

Now you should see the ? character. After this you can type in ” company name”

Now click the “save”-button and be happy. ??

What do you mean in 2)?

Please close this topic if my suggestion is a solution for you and feel free to comment and rate my plugin.

    Best Wishes,
    Marekki.

Thanks for your answer. Your solution works.

What I meant with 2) was:
After the problem occurred my client decided to input his company name without the ? sign and went through all directories again. Result: the new text lays over the wrong first text.. ??
Do we have to upload all images again (regarding the upload structure) and repeat the whole process?

    Hi Adrian,

    IMHO you have two options.
    a) to create watermark with only the ? sign. In this case you must find the right position related to your company name to get nice results.

    b) you can upload the pictures once more.
b1) if you use the original size of your pictures, so you can upload them via ftp and watermark them with Watermark-Dir function.
b2) you can use the wordpress build-in upload function and use the automatically watermarking. In this case you have to define your gallerys one more time.

    c) if you use the “Create bakup (.bak) from each file” function in Watermark-Dir. so you need to delete or rename the .jpg files and after this to delete the .bak suffix from the filename. so you will get the original – unwatermarked – pictures.

You must decide witch way will be easily for you.

    Greetings,
    Marekki.
