• I’m using k2, and I would like to display two (most recent) entries on the main page, and then when you click on “older entries”, it displays 10 older entries (as opposed to 2) on one page.

I tried out this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/11211 but it didn’t change anything (the default number of posts on each page was still 2), maybe I didn’t configure it properly?

    Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Try the Custom Query String plugin, one I can’t live without.

Wait, that might not work. I thought for a minute it had options for both is_home and is_paged(). Try it anyway though and see if it does what you need.

Brittanie, thanks for the link however I tried out the plugin, and set the conditions, so when on home->display 2 posts and when on page ->display 10 posts, yet I still get the same problem, only two posts are show on every page, I don’t get it… The plugin does have options for is_home and is_paged, but I can’t get them to work…

    Thanks anyway

If you aren’t able to solve it, you could always try the k2 forums (www.getk2.com/forum)

The people there are all k2 users, so they’d have a better idea of how the template works….

Don’t worry resiny, I just found out that I hadn’t deactivated the other plugin limiting the number of posts (and conflicting with the new plugin), it seems to work ok now.

    Thanks ??

    excellent
