  • I fear I have the same problem on my website https://www.thegadgethut.co.uk
When I google certain pages it does not display in google organic search results.

Is this down to google re-scanning the website since the reviews are new?
..and does it have to be over a certain amount of reviews before its registered by google to show the review stars in a search result?

Also does it average the rating for google if there are multiple ratings for a single product/review.

Do you still have this issue? It takes time for Google to include the ratings.

    Hello

I also want to know about the same, I have many posts with review, but they are not showing with stars or reviews.
Can you please tell me how much time it takes ?

    thanks

Since writing this the kids toy gadget review has now logged in google.
So I have turned the reviews on as it clearly works.
If you google: The Gadget Hut ATM Bank

You will see in the search result the Kids Pink ATM Bank has stars

I understand you need a review plugin that produces schema.org markuup code so search engines know its review.

The plugin I use is Review Schema by James Swindle

    Hope that helps

    Hi @thegadgethut

I searched for “The Gadget Hut ATM Bank” and I found that you have used customer reviews plugin(https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-customer-reviews/) on your site there https://www.thegadgethut.co.uk/pink-kids-toy-atm-savings-bank

Ah yes sorry, you are right. The other one is inactive.

Have you submitted a site map to google? it will crawl the link and log it with the reviews.

    Hello

Yes I have submitted the sitemap and its ranking on 2 and 3 for many keywords.
Can you please tell me what are the options you have used in your wp customer review settings.

    thanks

The settings look to be basic.

Just pop your business name in and enable it to ask for a review on all exsisting pages / new pages.

pop in your email address etc…

    Thats all.

What is your website url so I can check and find a reason.

    Hello

Thanks, can you send the screenshot of your settings so I Can match it there,

    the site is coachingntraining.com

    thanks

is your index page within the sitemap? one site map I had once didnt even submit the index!! just all the other pages.
It does take about a month to properly get into search results.

I can see most of the reviews have been submitted within the last 7 days.
Give it a month and it should be ok.

The settings are default, bascially allow exsisting posts and new ones to allow reviews.

I turned the hcard thing off but entered the business name and email address. thats all

thegadgethut – did you have to do custom coding to get the aggregate rating to display at the top? Or was it an option you selected through wp-customer-reviews? I think this might be key to Google displaying a rating in search results.

    i.e.
    5 / 5 stars *****

@bonacipher – I am using the code in my template file to show the reviews
    Is it really matters.
Do I have to use it from WP Customer Reviews Options, which is automatically place the review at the end of post.
