Moving WordPress DB Content

  • Hi.

    I want to move WordPress content from one website to another. The url’s and websites are different. Is this as simple as downloading the DB and uploading it to the new DB, or should I just download the wp_posts table and upload that to the new DB.

  • Why not just export and import the content using Tools -> Export/Import?

    I’m not too familiar with WordPress, didn’t know that feature existed. Thanks for that. Will give that a go.
