Subscriber Emails and Notifications Not Working
-
Since moving my registered domain from WordPress (registrar has been moved & DNS updated), the WordPress.com nameservers are still pointing to old data. I think that’s what stopped my Jetpack email updates & notifications from sending correctly.
My site, krystalcooks.com, is currently using CloudFlare.com. So its A record should be something like “108.162.199.165”. The site’s actual IP is “198.58.103.33”. However, when I do a nslookup of krystalcooks.com against ns1.wordpress.com, I get very different IPs (such as 72.233.2.58 and 66.155.11.238 – IPs belonging to wordpress.com).
I’m presuming that WordPress servers rely on thier own DNS and that’s why Jetpack isn’t seeing/notifying anyone with my new updates.
Could someone remove krystalcooks.com from being answered by wordpress DNS server? If that involves removing the krystalcooks.com domain that’s fine – I just really want to get my subscriber emails working again.
