Login form on cell phone

  • The widget is great. However, on the cell phone I have a problem.

    The form fields are vertically aligned and take up too much space. How can I make them go across the cell phone real estate? In the desktop/laptop instance, the fields are horizontally arranged and in the backend of WordPress the Logged Out Options is set to horizontal float.I am using the Login Form. Another option would be to have the widget not show on a cell phone and be in a page or something like that. I would need a short code, I think.

    As an aside, the password input field on the cell phone shows “password” inside it. How could I get this on the username field and then have both of these display like this on the laptop display?

    Hi agruber,

    I can not figure it out why the div elements jump to new lines. I assume that some css properties is not set correctly. Check the “display” property for each div in the login form, the values should be “inline-block”. Check “position” and “right”/”left” properties of the widget div, the values should be “absolute” and “0px” respectively.

    In addition, we wil take your advice to make some conditions to show or hide login widgets and to use shortcodes – we will include this features in next version.

    Regarding the password, we never put any automatically word in fields. I think it is browser capabilities – the browser recognize the password type field and automatic output “password”.
