File name displaying

    Really like the plugin. One question, I’m noticing the file name is appearing above the player. Is that intentional? I would really prefer the actual full file name not be visible as it already appears in the player itself.

    And speaking of which Is there any way to have the artist name and song title appear in the player instead of the full file name? It would be great if there was perhaps a metadata field within each post to add that information display in the player.

    About file name above the player. Yes, it will be possible to hide in next player version. I will inform you when it is ready.

    About way to have the artist name and song title from file.. Not sure, but I will investigate it.

    In version 1.8 added option in admin to show/hide song name above player.

    Hello djpozole,

    I’m still investigating possibility to get artist name and song name from metadata fields in mp3 fields, but I forgot to tell you about variant.
    You can create links with names as you want and player will use link name instead filename. For example:

    <a href="/test.mp3">Here is my song name</a>

    In that case player will use text “Here is my song name” as name.

    Hello djpozole,

    Possibility to read ID3 tags from .mp3 files added in version 2.0.2.
    Just mark in admin “Use ID3 information from file” as checked.
