Affiliate link question

    I don’t know if I’m missing something here but when I create a pretty link with an affiliate url taken from my website the full long url still shows in the browser when I hover over the link. If I copy the pretty link into a new tab it takes me to the right merchant page. So the pretty link works, but why is the long url still showing in the browser when I hover or click on the link in my website?

  • Hi, can you give us an example? A link to a page where this is happening would be great. If you are using the link code <a href=""></a> you should use the link url given to you by pretty link. All that does is redirect to the affiliate link anyways, but it should not show the affiliate link if your hovering over it (at least thats not been my experience).

    Sorry, it was my fault. I never manually replaced the affiliate link with the newly created pretty link. Got it right now.
