NivoSlider – Theme option resets to "Default"

    Hi,

    I am trying to use the NivoSlider with the “Bar” theme. When I select the “Bar” theme in WP-admin and press “Save & Preview” or “Save” it works and the Meta Slider widget appears as expected on my website. But every time I access or reload the WP-admin page (./wp-admin/admin.php?page=metaslider) directly, the theme option resets to “Default”. Next time I add a slider or save the settings, I will end up with the default NivoSlider theme.

    I am able to reproduce this in Chrome and Firefox. Here’s a screenshot of my Meta Slider settings, if that’s helpful.

    How can I fix this? Thanks a lot.

    The issue can be found here: babelmalmo.se
    It works with other themes: Haven’t Tried
    It works when I disable all other plugins: Haven’t Tried

    Hi Macks,

    I’m not sure at the moment, we’ve had no reports of anything too serious so far (just the widget needs a title, and nivo slider isn’t selecting the right theme.

    I will update the development version if you’re in a hurry, then you can copy the files to your server as a temporary fix. (I want to avoid updating the plugin too often as it’s quite annoying for users having to update so regularly)

    I don’t know why, but it still does not work for me :/

    Update: Never mind, I accidentally downloaded v2.1.1 instead of the development version. The dev version works like a charm! Awesome.
