Include the title?

In hopes that this is still being supported somehow, I can’t figure out how to add the Title (I don’t speak PHP, but tried adding a return declaration, which gave me a title and no Content) and my text is showing up with ampersands in place of quotes and apostrophes.
Anyone have advice?
