Somehow WordPress is adding an unwanted link which breaks my menu

    Hi Guys,
    I am really stumped with this one.
    I recently created a sidebar menu for this site
    https://www.cmipromotions.com/
    The sidebar menu works normally on every page except
    https://www.cmipromotions.com/apparel-products/
    You will notice that the menu is broken on this page, and wordpress has somehow added this link
    <a href="https://www.cmipromotions.com/apparel/" title="Apparel Services"></a>
    several times in my code!?!
    I don’t understand this because the sidebar menu is entirely hand coded HTML, I am not using any of the WordPress “Menus” functionality.
    I have even recreated the Apparel Products as a new page, and this
    problem is STILL happening!

    I am stumped. If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated

    We are using WordPress Theme 1399. As far as I know this is a new error that I have never seen before now

    That theme that is not released under GPL – so is not in keeping with WP policy and philosophy – so it’s not supported here at all. I’d actually recommend that you ditch that theme.

    Otherwise, you can try:
    Switch themes to see if it’s a theme issue.

    Deactivate your plugins to see if it’s related to one of those.

    Ask the people you got the theme from.

    Ask the developers of whatever ecommerce plugin you are using.

    FIXED!!!
    Amazingly, this problem was being caused by an unclosed
    <a href></a> that was at the very bottom of the page content!
