2 column post browser

Hi all,

reading so much posts in here and they were always very helpful, but i cant figure this one out.

I’m using the Weaver 2 Theme, and I’m almost satisfied with the looks of my HP. But I got this idea for a page, but cant figure out how to get there.

Here is what I’d like the page to be:
It should be a 2 column Page.
On the left: Full Post.
On the right: Recent Posts but just the thumbnail (stretch goal: no title, no bullets, ..)
(thus far I got with the widget Posts by Tags as a right sidebar – look at it here Test )

Now I if i click on a Post in the right column (sidebar) I want to show that post as a full post on the LEFT instead of the most recent post.

Is this possible with plugins/widgets or do I have to make my way through some code?
