Remote login locked me out of the control panel

I have just set up two different instances of FreshDesk but I can no longer get to the control panel of either, only the client side.
In both cases the browser gets into a loop and tells me the same thing ~ “Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete”.
The odd thing is it was working fine until I tried to log in via the remote login in your single sign-in plugin
Cookies are switched on and I cleared them from the browser cache so I have no idea where to go from here.
