White Screen when trying to log on

    Hi,
    I am trying to log into WP admin and website and I an getting a completely WHITE screen. BEFORE this happened…

    I was in the “footer text” code of the Parent theme (easel).
    I attempted to add “All Rights Reserved.” to the company name on the footer area and when I updated file all went white. I refreshed screen and it went back to “footer text” code. I then tried to log in to site and that was white too! Now I cant get in anywhere. PLEASE HELP and let me know I haven’t lost everything :'(

  • Download a new copy of the theme to your local computer – then using FTP (or other file manager your hosting company uses), replace the footer.php file with the one in the new copy of the theme.

    Thank You. I actually got it fixed by replacing original code through the ftp. Very relieved ??
