All text on my site went from white on black to black on black.

  • Hello:
    Something happened on my site overnight (www.historicphilippines.com)and I can’t figure out how to correct it. When I shut everything down the fonts on the site we the default size (in both posts and other articles) and the default colour – I use the Parament Theme – the text when everything was working find was white on a black background. Well when I checked everything this AM all the text on everything is black on a black background. Something obviously happened and I can’t figure it out? It’s not as if it’s only one or two posts but its absolutely everything…now I’ve changed some of the posts individually, but that will take forever – I have 122 posts and 123 articles…Now I have spoken to a friend and he says everything looks normal to him – can it be something that is affecting on my computer? I am at a loss can you please help?

    Have you tried deactivating all plugins and switching to the default Twenty Eleven/Twelve WordPress theme?

    Andrew have done as you recommended and all appears OK now, thanks for your help. Have loaded Twenty Eleven and will leave it as the active theme…not to tempt fate again!
