recognised admin urls

  • dear sir,

    I make change in admin login url /wp-admin to something else which known by my self only. But then also log shows admin login failure attempt.

    How is it possible?

    Also my site hacked with following message at wp-admin level only. (not at user front end level)

    database altered…
    table named “options” column name “blogname”

    wondering how? and by which security loop-halls?
    as all better wp admin suggestions taken cared.

    This plugins and many security plugins really can improve the security of your website. But there is no guarantee 100% hacker proof.

    Changing login slug feature in this plugin can’t fully hide your login slug. This issue has been discussed several times in this forum, you may try to dig it if you’re interested.

    major thing is to check what chmod your folders are running at, use Wp-Filesystem Tester & WP Security Scan if you dont know how to check manually
