End Date option

Hi
I have two problems:
1) the end date slider seems to not be in 24hr format and therefore does not recognise pm. eg. If i set and end time for 11:59pm, it always defaults to 11:59am.
2) i mainly use external links for deals. How can the buy now links open a new window not same one?
Any ideas?
