    Hi,
I have the problem that the wysiwyg editor keeps giving me a blank screen.
I’ve googled and seen many options that solved the problem for people who also had this, but all those solutions didn’t do it for me.
    I tried:
    – deactivate all plugins
    – download ‘Use Google libraries’ plugin
    – deactivate all plugins, except google libraries
    – switching to standard theme
    – checking to see if the files in FTP had the correct access rights (they did)
    – downloading wp-config.php and adding “define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );” at the bottom
    – turning off and on again the option in the user section that says if you want to use the wysiwyg editor
cheking for any updates on plugins
    – flushing my cache

None of these solutions to other people fixed my problem.
Can someone please help me on this?
I’m getting a bit desperate as to what it can be and how I can solve it ??

I’ve tried using GC, FF, IE, different versions of them, rebooting WP, rebooting browser, rebooting computer; I’m out of ideas by now…

    Hope someone can help me.

    https://www.kemet.nl

But the wysiwyg-editor is in the backend, so I don’t quite understand why you need the url.
The site is in Dutch, I hope you can make something of it.

Have you tried https://forum.bytesforall.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2 for support?

Delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folder. DO NOT touch the wp-content folder. Download a new copy of wordpress, unzip it and upload the new folders wp-admin and wp-includes to the server.

Hi, I just did what you suggested and appear to have nuked 3 weeks of work (again). All I get is the white page, wherever I go. How do I get this restarted, please?? Peter

Does this mean that I have to start all over again???
    HELP!!
    Peter

@classicbikenut – this is not your thread – please do no hijack other people’s threads – use the one you have here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/wysiwyg-tab-still-missing-after-manual-re-install-of-wp?replies=4

I didn’t intend to hijack the thread, I just did what was suggested in this thread and had a problem as a result.
I could actually do with some help, since nothing else has worked and now I seem to have destroyed a whole month’s work (the same thing had to be rebuilt three times) SO perhaps someone could actually answer the question so that I could get on with my life and off the forum?

I have not tried the forum that you mentioned, because that is the forum of the theme that we are using and since I use this theme also on other websites and there are no problems there, it’s most likely not the theme that’s causing the problem.
I’ve had before that when I started a topic there that was about WordPress and not about the theme, they redirected me to this forum.

Meanwhile we’ve had some other problems with the website, cause malware was installed. That’s fixed now, but I’ve noticed that in IE the wysiwyg is working, while in Chrome and Firefox it is not.
This makes me think it’s not a website problem, but a browser problem. However, I still don’t know what would cause this and thus how I can fix it.

Does anyone maybe have some thoughts about this that might be useful?
    I hope someone does…
