I’ve had a few reports of problems like this with the latest version of WordPress SEO, so it sounds like something somewhere has changed.

My intention is to update Shopp SEO Glue in time for the release of Shopp 1.3 and that should also bring it into line with whatever the current version of WordPress SEO is at that point ??

(… and sorry for the late reply.)

SEO Glue still doesn’t seem to work for 1.3, and I too get the problem mentioned here.

When I change the ‘shopp_warehouse_init’ filter to ‘shopp_init’, I am then able to see the product SEO box and also update the values – the only flaw with this is that it then redirects me to the category edit upon updating.

The data does save though, so it’s a good start for me!

Great work with this project by the way!

Thanks WazzaJB, glad it helped (after a fashion!).

The current version definitely won’t, that’s right. I’m not sure I want to support both 1.2.x and 1.3, so timing the release of a 1.3-compatible release is trickier.

Hi WazzaJB: just to let you know you can if you like grab a copy of Shopp SEO Glue 1.6 and test it with Shopp 1.3 RC. It isn’t backwards compatible with earlier versions of Shopp so I won’t make it generally available until 1.3 is formally launched.

    Hi Barry,

Just wondering if there is any specific settings I need to turn on in to get the Shopp SEO to appear on Product and Category pages?

It seems to work when editing a Shopp Tag, which is strange.

I’ve turned off all other plugins, twentyfourteen theme with a fresh install of WordPress 3.8.1, WordPress SEO 1.5.2.6, Shopp 1.3.2 and Shopp SEO Glue 1.6 installed.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

I’m sorry I missed your post.

Unfortunately I haven’t had time to check into this and am not actively using or maintaining Shopp SEO Glue at this time.

    Hi Barry,

That’s a real shame, such a great plugin when it was working. I have a few clients that need this to be working, so would be awesome if there was some maintenance done to get this working for the new versions of WordPress SEO and Shopp.

Yeah – I’d love to be able to do more but between pressures of time and simply not using WordPress SEO for recent projects means, sadly, I’ve had to leave this one behind.

If someone wishes to assume control or simply fork it and keep development going in a new repo though that would be fantastic.
